女主角杨八妹（周海媚）在九零年时已是参茸商人张浩然（黎明）之妻，因受夫冷落而使之抱怨言。偶然机会下八妹重遇初恋情人龙飞（林嘉华），再被他的幽默风趣所吸引，悔疚不拣此人为夫。后浩然误会八妹与龙飞红杏出墙而致二人大吵起来，八妹愤然离家。在途上的游戏机中心打机发泄，不料打至满分而使时光倒流，返回四年的时间。四年前的八妹是避风塘艇妹，被人捧为避风塘之花，当八妹回到四年前，一心希望尽快回到九零，可惜身边无人相信，唯有朱荣（郑敬基）一人仍协助她四处奔走，不幸当年该游戏机中心仍未建成，放八妹唯有收拾心情再活一次。在大帝夜总会内，八妹与潘明明（李殿朗）成莫逆交，一次意外中八妹失去颈炼而丧失预知记亿。此时，龙飞在明家邻开设宾馆，偶然下妹与然相遇，一见互相倾慕，后再在大帝重遇，二人感情飞快增长。浩然母琴（梁珊）获悉儿子女友曾做舞女，设计制造误会离间二人感情……。中国早期引进的科幻译制片（其实本质是个僵尸电影。。。） Two sisters, high school seniors in the early 1980s, awaken one morning to blood red skies and the realization that the human race has been wiped out. It becomes apparant that anyone who was not surrounded by steel when the Earth recently passed through the tail of Haley's comet has been reduced to a pile of red ash (the trace elements of human chemical makeup.) They encounter a rebellious Native American man and take over the air waves at a local radio station in an attempt to get help. Unfortunately, they attract the attention of a group of scientists who knew what the effects of the comet would be. They hid underground in a steel laboratory, but idiotically left the vents open. Now, as various survivors of the comet who were only partially surrounded by steel are decaying into flesh-hungry zombies, the scientists are attempting to come up with a vaccine made of the blood of people who were not infected by the comet. Thus the trio must fight their way past not only roving packs of the cannibalistic dead, but also outsmart a pack of scientists desperate not to become that way themselves.。
