特别编“AIR in Summer”于2005年8月28日和9月4日于BS-i放映。 AIR “Summer”编的故事在2005年1月6日的版本中已经包含，“Summer”编动画故事内容长度比游戏的故事短了很多，其中多半是被删减或压缩。由于播出时大受欢迎，而决定推出特别编“AIR in Summer”填补原电视动画版的空间。 故事是在原TV版第8话中段开始接轨，加插了大量柳也、神奈和里叶出发去寻找妈妈的旅途中所发生的事情。该OVA包含了游戏Summer篇涵盖所有的内容（Summer篇本身为单线无选择），有认为该部分表现力比之游戏原作更为精彩，为整部动画添色不少。。该剧由音乐人Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson制片，故事描述绰号「鬼魂」的主人公James St. Patrick（Omari Hardwick）不甘心只当一个小小的夜总会老板——他打算依靠自己的夜总会白手起家，在纽约城建立一个庞大的娱乐帝国并使之成为世界财富五百强企业。但是他面临一个问题：他除了白道身份之外还有一个黑道身份：一个大型贩毒集团中的大毒枭。当他计划离开犯罪世界专心做生意时，他的婚姻、家庭和事业全都受到了威胁，这迫使他不得不思考自己的人生道路。。A group of Czech artists choose to ignore the realities of Nazi occupation in this brooding experimental war drama.
