没有事件可解，便无法称之侦探──号称「福尔摩斯」的大学生侦探明智恭介（中村伦也饰），不顾助手叶村让（神木隆之介饰）劝阻，缠上电影研究社社长，因为社内怪事连连：社员自杀、短片出现恐怖人脸、即将举办的合宿收到恐吓字条，令许多社员心生退意。然而，别人的麻烦正是侦探的乐趣，明智死缠烂打想参加合宿却无法说服社长。苦恼时，神祕的美少女侦探剑崎比留子（滨边美波饰）现身解围，以「不问她目的」和「她一同参加」为条件，让明智与叶村混进其中。。《月亮星星太阳》：夜总会舞女梅出身于一个破碎家庭，继父对她们母女不好，威迫梅下海伴舞；后梅认识一位银行经理，与其相爱，但因受不了世俗的压力，两人以分手告终。舞女吉吉的丈大亏欠公款入狱，她不惜沦落风尘筹款救夫；丈夫出狱后移情别恋，令她伤心欲绝。舞女波什7年前的男友从美国返港，要与她结婚；她满怀高兴，谁料其男友要她重操故业，令她好梦成空。玛嘉烈表面势利、刻薄、贪图金钱，骨子里却是古道热肠；前述3位就是玛嘉莉旗下的3块红牌。在玛的带领下她们在欢场中打混，看尽世态炎凉、人生百态。。Disarmingly realistic in its depiction of the realities of frontier life, Heartland is a strong antidote to the cliches of traditional Westerns. This semi-documentary slice of life is based on the diaries of Elmore Randall Stewart about her days on the Wyoming frontier in the early 20th century. It's a strongly feminist statement about a woman raising her small daughter alone and scrapping for a living by working for a shy Scottish rancher. Director Richard Pearce brings an endearing touch to a film that is helped greatly by the dazzling cinematography of Fred Murphy. Conchata Ferrell and Rip Torn star in this small film that substitutes veracity for a high-powered plot. Pearce worked as a cinematographer on Woodstock and other documentaries before making his directorial debut. Winner of the 1980 Berlin Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival。
