一年一部的《小屁孩日记》将在今年迎来他的第三部，依然是心思很重且屡屡出糗的Greg，和那个没心没肺却又非常够朋友的小胖子Rowley，以及其他那些有趣的角色。这一回，他们将离开学校，开始一场暑期休假之旅。本片前两部都是选择春季档上映，票房虽然不高，不过有赖于成本很低，实际收益也并不算差。新的一部为了配合过暑假这一主题则调整至暑期档上映，虽然宣传不大，不过好在前两部的人气和依然有趣的小演员阵容，应该也是暑期档休闲影片的不错选择。。This film takes place in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. Matic lives in a large neighbourhood of concrete blocks of flats with his mother. As his father is temporarily working in Libya, they live alone. Matic's otherwise monotonous life changes dramatically when he is chosen to feature in a film. At the shooting he meets Milena, a girl his own age whom he begins to like.
