This short journey through Rishikesh, Bikaner and Gangtok with the ups and downs, the missed trains and taxi rides, the heartbreak and the mending of old friendships, the quarrels and self-discovery, sweeps Jaya and Yogi away, and indeed us...。约翰（赫米尔·希尼·古纳森 Hilmir Snær Guðnason 饰）是一名风度翩翩的儒雅大学教授，虽然看上去一表人才，但实际上，约翰有过一段非常失败的婚姻，这段婚姻给他的内心里带来了挥散不去的阴云。好在约翰遇见了安娜（玛格利特·维米蒂特 Margrét Vilhjálmsdóttir 饰），这个活泼可爱的姑娘虽然年龄上要比约翰小得多，却出奇的善解人意，让约翰感受到了久违的温暖。 最终，约翰决定跨越内心里对于婚姻的障碍，和安娜携手步入婚礼的殿堂。可是，因为约翰和安娜的年龄悬殊实在太大，两人结婚的决定遭到了安娜家人的强烈反对。不仅如此，过去的种种和口袋里少得可怜的钱都成为了恋人感情的绊脚石。。
