故事的舞台回到星慧的高中时代。曾经不起眼的美术社社员慧，因为对网球部男生水岛翔一的感情，有一天突然变得能够听到他内心的声音。因为发现了读取人心这一特殊能力，对水岛的淡淡爱恋以及慧的高中生活，都发生了巨大的变化。。改编自Daphne du Maurier的小说Jamaica Inn Set in 1820 against the backdrop of the windswept Cornish moors, the story follows Mary’s journey when she is forced to live with an aunt at the eponymous inn after the death of her mother and discovers it to be the hub of a smuggling ring.。
